Attention: From October 2025, Windows 10 will no longer receive updates and can therefore become a security risk. You should therefore promptly check the compatibility of your computer with Windows 11 and upgrade if possible to ensure the protection of your data.

As a result of a necessary security update to our central firewall, there will be a complete interruption to and from the Internet on June 5th, 2025 between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. for approximately 10 minutes. Connections via VPN, external VDI, Cisco Jabber, among others, are affected.

Due to urgent maintenance work on Viadrina's Nextcloud system (mycloud.europa-uni.de) next Friday (23.05.25), Mycloud is expected to be temporarily unavailable between 15:00 and 21:00.

Maintenance work on the Exchange system is planned for 22 May 2025 from 07:30 to 15:00. During the switchover between active and passive servers, there may be short-term access problems.

On 12 May 2025, 6-8 a.m., maintenance work will be carried out on the CMS Fiona.

On Wednesday, 30 April 2025 between 07:30 and 09:30, the Moodle archive system will be put into maintenance mode. During this time, the system will not be available.

Attention: For existing VPN users - VPN gateway renewal - No new installation of the Cisco Secure Client necessary - manual entry in the Cisco Secure Client window "vpn1.europa-uni.de" instead of "Viadrina-VPN" and then connect. - the next time you start the VPN client, please select "VIADRINA-VPN1".
