New podcast and video studio opened at the IKMZ
A new podcast and video studio is now available at the IKMZ. Over the past few months, the former TV studio's voiceover room has been converted into a modern and largely automated production room by the Event and Media Technology division.
The studio makes it easy to record audio and video podcasts with up to four people. Thanks to automated camera control and automatic video editing, a finished video is created during recording. This means that even users without extensive technical knowledge can produce their own podcast or interview formats.
In addition to classic audio podcasts, video interviews, social media clips or dialogue formats with external guests can also be recorded in the studio. The integration of telephone or video conference participants is also possible.
The technology is deliberately designed to be easy to use so that users can work independently after a short briefing. Professional microphones, cameras, studio lighting and an automated video editing system are available for the recordings.
The podcast studio complements the newly equipped editing room in the former television control room. There, video and audio projects can be edited and finalised on two high-performance editing suites.
Interested students, teaching staff and employees of the university can use the studio for research, teaching or university projects.
