Moodle learning management system

Moodle is the central e-learning platform of the European University Viadrina and offers teachers and students a wide range of learning activities. The platform enables the exchange of online materials and improves communication between students and lecturers. Through the use of synchronous activities (chats) and asynchronous tools (forums, wikis, glossaries), you can collaborate efficiently with your fellow students. Moodle is designed for virtual learning and workspaces in which teaching and self-learning opportunities are offered.

You have to enrol for most courses yourself. Proceed as follows:

  1. Select the desired course in the course area or use the search function.
  2. Enter the course access code assigned by the lecturer, if applicable.
  3. Once you have successfully enrolled, you will have access to the course content.

Since the summer semester 2014, the courses of the respective Faculty have been recorded via a special Excel spreadsheet and centrally imported into the respective semester by us via script. The necessary authorisations must also be specified when entering the data.

Courses that are additionally required for research, teaching or committee work should be requested directly via E-Learning Support.
