Mahara E-Portfolio
Mahara E-Portfolio
Mahara is a modular open-source e-portfolio management system that allows students to create their own e-portfolios, self-presentations, blogs and learning diaries.
In combination with Moodle, which is more focussed on teachers, Mahara offers students extensive opportunities to network via social networking functions. Users can create personal profiles and presentations and make them accessible to internal and external people.
The Mahara e-portfolio system also serves as documentation for lifelong learning and enables students to present themselves and their own achievements both within and outside of their studies
