Data network connection of a terminal device to the university network

European University Viadrina employees have the option of obtaining full Internet access via RJ45 patch cable (LAN) with a private notebook/end device. A network application must be submitted for this purpose. However, full integration analogue to that of a business PC is NOT possible.

Application process for the data network connection: Who, when and how

Members of staff, employees, guest lecturers, guests, participants in research training groups, doctoral students, other persons on request.

  • When connecting a business PC, notebook, printer or VoiP telephone to the data network of the European University Viadrina
  • Use of a private PC or notebook
  • Installation of a server, server service outside the IKMZ
  • New employment, relocation, change of employee, etc.
  • Use of the central fax server
  • Change the entry (e.g. in the event of a name change)
  • Note: After replacing the network card or adapter, an application must also be submitted.

Please complete the application online, print it out and sign it. The fields outlined in red must be completed. Send by internal mail or directly to the IKMZ letterbox.
