Computer labs

The computer rooms in August-Bebel-Straße are available to all Viadrina students
for study-related work. Here you will find a short guide to the pools.

They are located in the rooms: AB210, AB211, AB215 and AB308

We offer you the following services:

• Free internet access
• Use of Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Use of other installed software according to list: AB210, AB211, AB215, AB308
• Use your own USB sticks to store the data

Logout is the same as on any standard Windows PC:
Start button --> log out Important!

Please always log out, otherwise the desktop will remain active for some time and another student (other person) can access your session data without logging in.

Opening times

As long as there are no reservations
for events:

Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 20:00

Note

Attention: NO data can be saved on the desktop beyond the end of the session. After the logout process, all settings are reset and personal data is deleted.

Important:
Always log out via the Windows Start button before leaving the room.

Installing software

is NOT permitted:

a) the users do not have admin rights and

b) the desktop is deleted after logging off!
